Bin Stores In Alabama

“My FAVORITE store to shop! I'm on a very limited income, so yard sales, thrift stores and $1 day at Bargain Bins, is where I normally go to purchase needed items. Sure, you have to be ready to dig through items, plan to be there awhile and mentally prepared to handle other shoppers. Some may think I'm joking or crazy(but it doesn't matter to me bc it's the truth) when I say this but I depend on Jesus to provide what is needed. I pray and praise Him for every single thing, little or big! For example, my charger cord to my Chromebook broke. I can't afford to do online shopping and order a new one. Along with a vitamin supplement I needed, that had to be ordered, as well. So yesterday, I prayed and asked the Lord to show me favor and provide everything, I'm in need of at Bargain Bins. Of course, He did. Plus more.”

“If I can leave a 0 star, I would! Trashiest store I've ever seen employees will stop you if you bring anything in headphones, a diaper bag, and even a purse! People are rude, throwing everything at you, and the place smells disgusting! Nobody needs to come here!”

“It's pretty much Amazon returns as far as I could tell. Definitely wear gloves... You never know what's going to be in the bins. Most stuff was pulled out of boxes so you couldn't tell if it was missing parts or broken. We went on $8 day (Saturday), so there wasn't much I found worth the $8... But we did have a few good finds (electric balloon pumps). Might be interesting to go back on $2 & 50 cent day!”

“Cannot believe a store full of junk would not let me bring kids in. They are very forceful of their no children policy. In a world where normal folk cannot afford childcare, it is foolish to not allow us to bring children in. It is cold hearted and cruel. And the employees were straight up nasty to me about it. Lost a customer for life.”

“The store was completely empty (lowkey dingy and messy too)of business except three employees standing around, yet they declined to let us shop because of our toddler. Then one of them (grey hair, heavyset lady) came outside and was just glaring at us and smoking? It was so odd.”

“Used to go here all the time....until they banned children. I have a 3 year old that I carry in my arms and was not allowed to go inside. What kind of store does not allow supervised children in it? I will tell you, one that will go out of business soon. I get that their are people who dont watch their kids, but how about asking them to leave and not punishing those of us that are responsible enough to parent properly. They will not get another dollar of my money.”

“I've been coming to bargain bins for quite a while. Brought my kids in with me and everything. Today I brought my youngest nephew in. He's nine to pick out some things for Christmas for his family. When we came in we started looking. He stayed right by me. No problem. He didn't open any boxes. He wasn't throwing things anywhere. He stayed right next to me and just looked through the bins with me. The woman in charge today came up and said we don't usually let the kids dig in the bins but we got all the glass out and all that and I said okay. Thank you. I appreciate that. And since I didn't see a sign on the door saying that no one under 16 is allowed to shop in there, I took that as as long as I kept a good eye on him, he would be okay. She didn't specifically say not to let him or I would have stopped. We made it about a third of the way through the store before the woman stood in front of everybody and said if you have kids in here under 16 I don't want to see their hands in the bins. "I don't want to see children running around with things that they don't have money to buy and I'll tell you my kids wouldn't be in these bins".”

Their inventory is constantly changing to give more options and the pricing is easy to figure out and they have always been more that willing to make a deal within reason just to keep you from going somewhere else. Im a life long customer now!”

“I was shopping here for the first time bc my mother in law was super excited to show me this store because I live 3 hours away and never heard of it. I bring my entire family in with the intentions of letting each person spend a certain amount. Not even 5 minutes into shopping, I hear this man fussing at my 10 year old boy like he is his daddy. This man bypassed his mother (me) and both his grandparents to talk to a child like he has lost his mind. My son was so scared he started walking towards me and apologized to the man. FOR TOUCHING A GOCART THAT DID NOT HAVE A SIGN ON IT SAYING DO NOT TOUCH.”

“Thank you discount central for the free $25.00 gift card! The set up is nice, everything is organized, employees are very helpful! The only down fall of this place is the prices are a big rip off! The same amount I can spend in there on something is the same amount I can spend in Walmart. Nothing about this place has a discount. Everything was amazing except the prices!”
